The short version

This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party embed placing anything in your browser.

That is why there is no cookie banner. A banner asking consent for cookies that do not exist is theatre, and it trains people to dismiss the ones that matter.

What would change this

Two things will eventually require storage, and both are strictly necessary rather than tracking:

• A session cookie once sign-in exists, so that a signed-in person stays signed in. It holds a random token and nothing else.
• A preference stored locally if we add a setting worth remembering between visits.

If we ever add analytics

If we add analytics, we will prefer a provider that does not use cookies or cross-site identifiers. If we cannot, we will ask for consent before setting anything, and this page will say exactly what is set and for how long — in the same release that introduces it.

Third-party content

We do not embed third-party video, fonts, maps, or social widgets. Fonts are self-hosted, which means your browser does not contact another company to render this page.
